Tanya Monique Skeen was born on February 22, 1970 to Richard Lee Skeen and Helen B. Skeen.  She received her formal education at Thomasville High School in Thomasville, NC.

Tanya accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was united with Agape Perfecting Praise and Worship Center where she served.

Tanya was employed by Frito Lays as a crew coordinator for 15 years.

In her leisure, she enjoyed planning, shopping, and community service.

Tanya departed this life on April 20, 2016.  She was preceded in death by her father Richard Lee Skeen, and her cousin Bobby Henderson, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Helen B. Skeen; three wonderful children: two daughters Rashika and Zaniya Skeen, and one son Zayveon Skeen; two sisters, Darlen Georgia and Nanette (Earl) Wilson.  One niece Olivia Wilson, two nephews Dezmond Wilson and Jamal Georgia of Thomasville, NC.  A host of great aunts, aunts, uncles, cousins, God children and friends.
