Bernice "Susie" Davis departed this earthly life on Saturday morning, January 30, 2016.

She was born on January 30, 1951 to Clarence and Virginia Saunders in Whitmire, South Carolina.

Affectionately known as "Susie", she was a 1969 graduate of Church Street School in Thomasville, North Carolina.  She was later employed at Thomasville Furniture Industries (TFI) for twenty years.

Susie enjoyed watching soap operas, shopping, talking on the phone, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and two grandchildren Jordyn and Justis Davis.

Left to cherish her memories are two loving children, daughter Angela Davis of the home and Tyrone (Carla) Davis of High Point, NC; two step daughters Sonja Jones of Thomasville and Dionne Steele-Palmer (Steve) of High Point, NC; one sister Janet Craddock of High Point, NC; four brothes Clarence Saunders of High Point, NC, Charles Saunders of Yanceyville, NC, Allen (Joyce) Saunders of Thomasville, NC, and James Saunders of Thomasville, NC; four grandchildren Shawntika Davis, LaQuandre Davis, Salassia Davis, and Jahidi Davis; one great-grandson Nhquaris Little, a special aunt Lois Swittenberg (Pete) of Fort Washington, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
